Another great set of pictures Graeme. I have a soft spot for black moors, used to have them myself, brilliant fish.

Cheers you two. This is my fantail back when his eye was better than it is now. He's a really chilled out fish. He just drifts about the tank and his fins follow.

When we first set up the tank we had the four bigger goldfish above and these three smaller fantails. One vanished one night! One caught a bug and died and the other one is still with us.

Here’s the three (and the Moore)

Here’s some single shots

And this is the one who’s left.

I like your weather loach, I had one of those in with my black moors too. Comical fish.
Another brilliant batch of pictures, thanks for sharing Graeme.

wow your tank looks great!! I love those goldfish with the eyes !! I had gold fish as a kid, well i think everyones does dont they?, my dad has a pond he had huge koi and golden orfe or something we thought they looked like swimming carrots so we called them carrot fish! I think the local Heron had the koi or somebody robbed them.I saw a thing of youtube in china or japan you can get gold fish out of those 'grabber' machines you see at the fair...what is that all about? Cruel isnt the word.

Turns out after the original setup we didn’t get the Calico and the Loach next, we got the 4 Giant Danios. Here’s a rare picture of all 4 of them together.

Image

Here’s another rare picture, a shot of a Danio that’s actually in focus! They don’t keep still for long so they’re very entertaining but it’s tricky to get a good picture.

Image

Their colours developed nicely with a red hue on the underside and tail. Harvey asked if they were swimming upside down when he saw their mouths!

Image

We only have 2 left now, sad one that, I like the Giant Danios.
