wow, some really inspiring ideas! I love the absolute invasion of the wood or rocks used, it has a wonderful effect. Especially when I have only really seen the typical bright blue gravel/day-glo pink plants set ups in shops and stuff. They should put some of these designs in, they would make a fortune!!! Thanks for sharing :)

The tank is looking great - I love soft water set ups, they're my favourite :)

I was just saying today to a young lad who is getting bitten by the fish keeping bug how he should take pictures of the changes over the weeks months cause when you look back over them years down the line its amazing how much things change. Your pictures show that fantastically well.

Thanks for kind words.
I just love to aquascape and always try and give my fish that am keeping at time as natural
a home as i can do loads of research first.
Plus i mimic water which is vital if you want happy breeding fish.
I have not lost a single fish now in over 3yrs.

Tips for newbys always starve your fish over 2 days and make effort to do as much regular water
changes with stored treated water.
Always check your water board to see your ph and hardness range and try and buy fish which go
better. :-):

yeah, I know what you are saying! I have some stones that 'feel out of my boots' when I walked in Scotland, and they are very interesting :)

Thats some pretty hard core aquascaping.
I'm probably going to regret asking this, but is YorkStone expensive?
I may have given a neighbour several wheel barrels full that came with my house. He did look rather jolly when my price was I wasnt helping him shift it....
