Tank is looking a little hagered at the moment as we pulled out the lily to trim the roots and got loads of muck in the water. It's taking it's sweet time to settle and clear.

HOWEVER, this morning we found some platy fry swimming around and have managed to catch 8 of them and put them into a breading net to keep them from being eaten. There are still a few swimming around in the main bit of the tank but they keep going to ground when we try to catch them, ah well 8 isn't bad!

Well it's taken them about 4 months to have the first lot. Strangely they have appeared over the time when the water went murky so perhaps it was only during this time that they are able to avoid being eaten?
