I have never kept many cichlids not being a massive fan of them but I do enjoy seeing your guys.

With the exception of the synspilum it's pretty much a community tank, just bigger fish.

That's a big bio wheel is all.
That's an odd little discontinued design. I picked it up used off a saltwater set up.
I loaded the top tray with carbon which I normally don't use but I heard somewhere that it helps with the tannins. Over the carbon I layered a blanket of that blue/white floss they sell in rolls. The second tray I filled with bio balls from the 90G and the third tray is loaded with Seachem Matrix rocks.
